Book Excerpt: Godly Inspirations for the Troubled Soul by Lisa C. Miller

I was carved out of the dust and wind.

From nothing I came to be perfectly formed.

You know me.

I am passed over by everyone else.

But, you already know that.

The love runs deep in my soul for you.

The connection of all living things flows so smoothly together.

There is so much to say.

Yet, I can only be silent.

The soul cries out through eternity.

Searching for what it does not know.

It reaches out to the master designer;

Who cares for it deeply and cries for it openly.

The connection between you and me surpasses all eternity.

I feel you all around me.

Everywhere I look, you are there.

The earth and the human soul,

Intertwined forever by the designer of my soul and all living things.

In the quiet moment of the day;

I sense you near.

Impressions of you are everywhere.

The lover of all things good and pure is the designer of my soul.

He has left his mark on my heart.

This may be a small book of poetry but each day the book is opened you will find something special. Within its pages it contains inspirational philosophical poems and stories that I felt inspired to share with humanity. Words are to be shared with everyone. I hope these words help make your journey easier. As a Christian I freely open my life and share my words with everyone. People need beauty and encouragement on a daily basis.
